Customers

Orders → Customers lists the people who have bought from you.

You do not create customers in Fiftify. The empty state says as much:

Customers will appear here automatically when orders are imported from your sales channels.

A customer record is a by-product of an order. That is deliberate — the channel is where the customer relationship lives, and duplicating it here would only give you two versions of an address to disagree about.

Search matches name and email.

The Orders count is the column worth sorting by. Repeat buyers are worth knowing about before a problem, not after one.

Three blocks:

Customer information — name, email, phone.

Addresses — every address the channel has sent for this person. Several is normal: a billing address, a shipping address, an old one from last year.

Recent orders — what they have bought, each linking to the order page.

Two questions, mostly:

  • Has this person ordered before? Useful when someone gets in touch about a parcel and gives a name rather than an order number.
  • Where else have we sent to this address? Useful when a delivery goes missing and you are deciding whether to resend.

It is not a CRM, and it is not a mailing list. There are no notes, no segments, and no marketing on this screen. Fiftify keeps the customers attached to orders so warehouse work has somewhere to be sent — anything beyond that belongs in the tool that owns your customer relationships.

Edit them on the channel the order came from. Fiftify shows what the channel sent, and a change made here would be overwritten by the next sync — see how channels work.

An address that is wrong on an order already in the warehouse has to be corrected on the channel and re-synced — and before the label is bought, because after that the carrier has the address you gave them.
